Do you ever surprise yourself with things? Really surprise yourself. I surprise myself all the time. I was looking for a book, and I just happened to pull out an old book, The Animal-Wise Tarot, by Ted Andrews. It had some pages marked with a rubber band, and they are getting old. So I pulled those out, and in the book were two cards that I had drawn approximately ten years ago from a deck that I own that I haven’t seen in years. Back then, when I pulled the cards, I asked for guidance as to what direction to go. Do you ever do that? I don’t do that often anymore, but every once in awhile, it’s interesting.
The Back of one card says, “Your life purpose involves your skills of oration. I believe that’s what I’m doing right now. And the next one that I drew said, “You heal with kind words, wise advice, and an empathetic ear.” I also believe that that’s what I do. I found that very fascinating that somehow, cards that I drew a long time ago relate to what I am doing now.
Then I thought, “Well, let’s see what the book says.” I closed my eyes and opened it up to what I know as one of my totem animals, the frog. “The frog heralds an ideal time for new beginnings. It’s about fertility and new beginnings. It’s the ACE of ancients.” And a frog is close to my heart. You may think, “Well, that’s kind of weird.” But we have several totems, spirit guides, totem animals, and a frog is one of mine.
“A frog celebrates new beginnings, has a tympanic organ for creative voice, is leaping forward in great bounds, and has new opportunities coming my way, coming your way.” So they say that the question to ask is, are you ignoring those new opportunities? Are you mired in the mud of day to day life? Which is interesting since it just started raining a few minutes ago. Do you need to dive into freshwaters? I’m assuming that this is for you, too, because I pulled this book out while I was thinking of this weekly message. Are you becoming bogged down in emotions or not transforming them?
Repeating Old Patterns
Are you becoming too mundane? I don’t think I’m becoming too mundane. So maybe you feel mundane. Are you repeating old patterns? Occasionally I find myself repeating those old patterns and mistakes rather than moving onto new things. Sometimes I dwell over something negative, change my bracelet, and move forward from that, but it still happens. It still creeps in from time to time. Does that creep in for you? These times, as Adironnda has said many times, “There is no paradigm for where we are right now. We are carving new areas. We are carving in the crystalline ethers of this planet, a new planet.”
Creating New Patterns
When we are doing that, sometimes we feel like we want to hang on to an old pattern because it’s familiar, we know it, we get it, and we know how to respond to it. But right now, it’s really about having no pattern. It’s really about carving something new out of the void, out of the nothingness of who we are. That’s what the frog represents. It was brought to my attention years ago that I was to be a speaker and a counselor. What direction were you told that you now get the opportunity to enjoy in your life?
Being of Service
It’s imperative that, however, you provide an income for yourself, that it would be of service. If you are of service, everything else follows suit. If you are of service and love the way you are being of service to others and yourself, life gets pretty exciting. Then you pick up a book that you haven’t seen in years, and it opens up to just the right thing that you needed to hear right now. Because Joeaux and I are starting some new programs, new beginnings, new energies, and everything that’s going on right now on this planet seems to be brand new, so let’s see what it brings. What does it bring for you in these new times? Type that into the chat window down below. We’ll see what they are. Namaste, y’all. Namaste.
